Reactivate NIS2013 after OS clean install

After a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium on a Dell 1545 laptop with Vista 32-bit and using Norton’s NIS2013; I assume that NIS2013 can be downloaded from my Norton account and then manually reactivate it with the proper Product Key and all will be well?

Hi,
You can also download the program from here

http://norton.com/nis20

If you 'check subscription status' the program will check the server and all will be well

Keep us posted

EDIT:  corrected version number - sorry for the confusion :smileysad:

If you download from your Norton Account, it will give you the latest released version of your product. In this case you will now get the 2014 version.

The link you need for the 2013 version should read   www.norton.com/nis20    for the version 20 (2013).

Re: Reactivate NIS2013 after OS clean install

If your clean install was a Restore to Factory Condition that many PCs offer please check and tell us what security application came with the PC and so was reinstalled. If one did and you uninstalled it we still need to know what it was and how you uninstalled since more may have to done to clean up before installing your NIS 2013

Wow, it worked as advertized; I did nothing and it came back like a charm.
