I recently did a reformat for my computer because it had a virus (which NIS did remove) but before removal the virus did some damage. I would get random errors, my apps would be suddenly gone and I would have trouble turning off my computer. I had NIS 2010 installed on my current PC and have it installed on my other PC. But I sent the CD and Product Key to my cousin, who used the remaining install. My question is, is there a way to re-install NIS 2010 without having to purchase it again?

Hello Mend
Welcome to the Norton Community
Yes, you can reinstall NIS 2010 without buying it again
Please go to mynortonaccount and retrieve your key from that account.
You can download the program from here.
You can download 2010 NIS from here
http://www.norton.com/nis10
Please remember to run live update after install to make sure all updates are received and then please reboot.
You will have to run live update a few times to get the latest version- 17.7 and you might have to reboot before it comes thru live update..
Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks.
