Replacing my PC

I have a NIS subscription for 3 PCs (all WinXP Pro).  I just bought a new PC - WIn7 Home Premium 64-bit.  This PC will replace one of my XP machines.  How to I transfer one of the installations to the new machine?  Thanks,

floplot

Re: Replacing my PC

Hello Mike

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

Please uninstall NIS from the computer which you will not be using any more. That should allow one more installation then. Since you have got a new computer, please check and see if it has a security program pre installed. If it does, please remove it using the control panel and then reboot. Then please use the removal tool from the other company and run it twice with a reboot after each run of it. We want to make sure that the trial version is completely removed.

You can use this link to put it on your new computer.

Please run live update until no more updates and then reboot.

You will also need your key which you can find at www.mynortonaccount.com

If you get a notice that you have exceeded your activations, then you can contact customer support for free via the chat program.
