Hi there.
I am using SuperAntispyware 5.x with NIS 2012 on a friend's system.
However, I do not see the right click context menu for SAS to scan a file or folder.
I uninstalled it and reinstalled. Worked fine for about 1 day, then no more context menu.
Later on, I Installed MBAM and the right click context menu works just fine. Just not SAS 5.
Friend has XP, SP3 fully patched.
Can anyone confirm/deny this?
TIA,
Atomic_Blast :)

Do you have that option enabled?

When a context menu problem cropped up with PowerDesk the file manager and N 360 some years back it turned out to be out-of-date programming in Powerdesk where Microsoft had changed something and Norton had kept up with that but Powerdesk had not. Turned out that Powerdesk new about this and had a fix but hadn't told users ......
So it could be worth asking SAS, especially since it does not happen with MBM .... ?

Hi Hugh:
Already have a support ticket into them, just to cover all the bases.
I will advise when I hear back from SAS.
Thanks,

Update:
SAS is turning the Ticket over to the developers as the first line techs have no answer.
Anyone out there running a similar configuration? If so, does the SAS right-click Context Menu work?
TIA,

Hi Atomic_Blast,
Well, you got me experimenting. I am using the free version. If SAS is open I get a Context Menu entry. If SAS is closed, I don't. So, what exactly, is SASCORE.EXE doing, I wonder.

Using free version here, right click and scan works ok for me.

Umm...
The "technical support" people at SAS, closed my ticket without my OK. ![]()
Something weird going on there.
However, I did find this:

I might post in the Forum and see what happens.

Nice to know you are not alone ... do let him know he is not either .... and you could innocently wonder what the solution is now that SAS Support closed your case ...... <g>
