Hi, I've suddenly noticed that the Safe Surfing green / red check marks have stopped appearing on AltaVista / Yahoo search results. Anybody know how to get them back? I'm running NIS2011 on a Windows 7 PC using IE8 32-bit. I've checked that the Safe Surfing option in NIS2011 is on and I've not (knowingly) changed any IE8 settings. Thanks.

Strange. Does this only appear in IE8? Why aren't you upgrading to IE9?

I checked the site in Firefox and the site rating icons are not appearing with this browser, either.  Usually when this sort of thing happens it is due to something that has changed in the way the site displays their search results, causing the Norton page markup to break.

Thanks for taking the time to check with a different browser. Interesting because coincidently I've also noticed that the search engine home page "look" has changed about the same time as the checks stopped appearing. My guess is that you're correct in that search results are now delivered differently as you suggested. Hopefully Norton will correct this in some future update because it's a really useful feature.
