Scan settings

I just downloaded NIS2012 on a new build, activated fine. Where is the Scheduled Scan Settings? I can find only Off, Weekly, and Monthly, no daily with time settings.

I find no option for load at boot time either and it is taking 20-30 seconds to load at boot. I have a new SSD so it should BAM! right up. Seems the new version lack a lot if customizations the old one had? I have ver. 19.2.0.10

Only as to make a full scan run daily, there are no settings for what  time for it too run.Tthanks for your help, but Norton borked (broke?) this one. I suppose I will used my NIS2010 CD and go through the vast wasteland  of updates and upgrade to NIS2011 and leave it.

Hmm emoticons are not working lest there would be a mad face here.

Anyway to download NIS2011? My Norton account has only 2012.

Re: Scan settings

To set the day and time for your scans, follow the instructions here:

For the slow boot issue, change your Boot Time Protection setting to 'Normal' or 'Aggressive' by following the instructions below:

Thanks, that is really an old fashioned way to do things though. A well-featured security suite needs to be configurable to suit the users' needs though, not by what the vendor deems "necessary", IMO.

At least a multi-day scan can be set.
