Slow Community webpage loading again

Is anyone else having a problem with the Community webpages loading very slowly?  I'm running Windows XP, with IE 8 (the same thing is happening when I use Firefox 15.0.1) and NIS 2012 ver 19.9.0.9 on a rather old HP a1637c PC with 2GB of RAM.   It takes about 2 minutes to load the Community Home page and any selection I click on takes another 2 minutes.  When I go to Task Manager, to me it looks like two versions are trying to run, then they show "Not Responding" for a minute or so, then they go to "Running" then one disappears and my two processors both show they are running at 100%?  ?  If I go to the Symantec site and try to get to Community pages that way, I still get the slowdown.   Something like this happened before when the added those links to the bottom of the screen, but I think that was fixed.  I've only noticed this slowdown on the Community pages, the other websites I visit are working normally.  Any suggestions on what I need to check?

I don't know what changed but the Community webpages are loading normally again and only one version of NIS is loading?  Must be magic in the air..

Re: Slow Community webpage loading again

Do you by any chance have Trusteer Rapport on your pc, the reason I ask is I and a  few others that  know have been having the same issue with browsers not responding. I found that when I swiched off Rapport, all was well again.

I have received an e-mail from Trusteer this morning saying the issue has now been resloved.

Just a thought.
