Something went wrong on my last step. I turned on the computer today and i found norton is still disabled. I can't reenabel. Is it something i need to fix before i run any other program on this computer. I couldn't enable firewall on other user account. It is permenantly disabled.

Desregard my last comment, It worked after restart. I don' know what i did before. I am going to run the program as you have suggested now. I did see the auto protect popup once today again when surfing on google chrome.

I have completed the combofix scan. I had lot more dialoge box than was informed before. Somehow it kept asking me about wether I have windows Xp home edition, I clicked no and it did installed windows xp sp2 on recovery menu. Other than that everything else went as written in your last post.
Here is the combofix log file as per your request.
Hope it fixed . I will comment you again if something is wrong.
Thanks you again.

Why do people think they are completely fixed, just because Norton is not alerting anymore.
step 4. (a)
Please read carefully and Slowly
Please scan with ESET next
I'd like us to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan
button.
to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
button.
and DON'T (NO) check Remove found threats (reason for this is we don't want something deleted and then Windows won't load).
If you think a log should have been generated then go to C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Online Scanner\log.txt to find it.

OK, nothing to worry about as that is from inside the OTL quarantine folder, which will be deleted later.
