What is 'Norton Internet Security 2009 Submission Control Data' in this ?

I did not get this on any previous sessions of live update .

Controls what is sent/recieved by NCW. Maybe a security update for the link. Maybe a stability update.

The Submission Control Data updates are for the components of Norton program which are responsible for the following functions(A few which I know )

1. Submitting the risks/threats from the Quarantine to Symantec Security Response.

2. Submitting the unknown risks/threats detected during scan to Symantec Security Response.

3. Submitting the process information for Norton Insight.

4. Submitting the pharming Web site information for Phishing protection.

You may have got these as a part of the 16.2 patch released by Symantec yesterday.

I received the same submission control data message when I ran live update last night around 10pm central US time.  I have NAV2008 version 15.0.0.58
