Hi,
I just renewed my NIS subscription (NIS 2011 3 PC). My old subscription had 38 days left on it. I was under the impression that those 38 days would be added to the new subscription making it a total of +400 days remaining. But that's not the case, subscription days left is only 366. I've concluded all the steps from your support pages to correct this but without success.

If you renewed on line with Norton itself then please contact Customer Support by OnLine CHAT and they will sort it out pronto .....
If you bought a copy to use the KEY to renew -- often much cheaper than online renewal -- then this is how it works. It does wipe out the unexpired days because it is a new KEY ...
But from what we hear from users, those nice people at Customer Support will often add those days back on if you ask them (nicely <g>) ....
So ...... To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there.
You can choose CHAT or Email; email or phone may have a long wait time and feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.
Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.
