SuperAntiSpyware 5 Update problem...

[ Edited ]

I have bought a key for SAS 5 but when update the def. I get several errors, I use NIS2012, does it conflict with SAS5, are there any problems known for this ?!

I made exeptions in NIS so that SAS can access the internet for the def. updates..

Thx in advance.. :)

The paid version of SAS has real time protection and will conflict with NIS.  The free version of SAS does not have real time protection and runs fine along side NIS.  I have SAS free installed on my PC and NIS works without a problem.

The same is true of Malwarebytes - use only the free version with NIS installed.

Hello ferenzzz,

As mentioned by nikki605,  you should not be running SAS with real time protection.  You can turn that feature off and still use SAS to auto update and run scheduled scans.

I hope that helps.

Dave.

This looks like a SAS issue to me.  You could check the SAS Support site or perhaps check with their Forums.

Lets us know how you get on.

Thanks,  Dave.
