Today's New Problem-Computer At Risk Even After Doing a Quick & Full Scan

[ Edited ]

After downloading Liveupdate, computer freeze and doing hard reset, NIS 2009 shows I am risk. When I click the Fix button it runs a quick scan it runs...but doesn't not fix. I ran a full scan and both quick scan and full scan show "not completed" whereas in the past it displayed the date I performed the scan. One Click Support shows everything is working properly.

How do I now get my computer not to be at "risk" and why aren't the dates populating on both quick and full scans?

In addition, my settings have changed. Norton Community Watch is now off. My password protection is now off.

I put my password protection back on. Did a restart and both password protection and Norton Community Watch reverted back to off.

Try doing a complete uninstall and reinstall using the Norton Removal tool.
Real Time Protection = NIS 2009 + NAT
Behavior Analysis = Threatfire
On Demand = MBAM

I am travelling on business today and will try to reinstall and using the removal tool tomorrow night (this will be my fourth time doing so).

Uninstalled, used the removal tool and reinstalled. Put my password protection on andso far everything is good. I'll monitor it this weekend.

There is really no need for using the NRT tool for uninstalling NIS. Add/remove will do the trick

Every time your OS loads up, the OS freezes and you have to reset your system? I'm a bit confused on what's happening here; please provide some more details on what you are seeing with this error. Thanks!
