Re: Trojan.Gen.2 and Trojan.Zeroaccess.B help

Good to hear that you are working for others forums  also. Any way you are doing to great work. I am not telling you are wrong or something. We got some alternative solutions and same time now a days this 3 infections Trojan.Gen.2 , Trojan.Zeroaccess. and Trojanpatchep!sys  is very common. This infection attackes lots of computers also,

We tested this same steps in McAfee and AVG Virus removal Team and it is working fine.... That is why I inform you to use that way so that you can save time for your customers.

http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-forums?sec=thread&act=show&id=209835&type=0

Waht I am requesting you is try this steps first. after that run the Tools Like Combofix and others... So that we can see the final Logfiles and we can make sure there is no other infection remain on the computer.........

Please don't take it as Personal....

Thank you......

Re: Trojan.Gen.2 and Trojan.Zeroaccess.B help

I am just stopping you before you stuff up systems here, you would have already done that to one before I jumped in.  McAfee for starters to me is useless.

I just do not like people who really do not know what they are looking at or doing, so run the wrong tools, or wrong instructions the program used gets stuck, then I or other Malware removalists are the one asked to pick up the pieces.

Re: Trojan.Gen.2 and Trojan.Zeroaccess.B help

Step 2

Download the script attached, needs to be the same file name as well (fixlist.txt), Copy across to flash drive

NOTE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

Now please enter System Recovery Options again. Like previously

  • Select Command Prompt
  • In the command window type in notepad and press Enter.
  • The notepad opens. Under File menu select Open.
  • Select "Computer" and find your flash drive letter and close the notepad.
  • In the command window type e:\frst.exe or frst64.exe and press Enter
Note: Replace letter e with the drive letter of your flash drive.
  • The tool will start to run.
  • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.
