Trojan.Gen.2 help, please

I'm so sorry to start another thread on this, but I've read several threads and it seems the fix is unique to each person.  Is anyone willing to help me with removal?  The popup says what most of the others have said and the file is c:\users\princed\appdata\local\{396bc10f-2988-55c1-bcfd-d01a8cd3c029}\u\80000000.@

Re: Trojan.Gen.2 help, please

I have, but the Power Eraser didn't remove it.  From looking through this board, it seems like there is a way to remove the files without replacing the Windows files and there are a couple of people that have walked others through the process.  I'm sure they get tired of working through the same problems over and over, though.

did you read the information fully? did you try the link that says "norton power eraser DIDN'T remove the risk"?

EDIT

bootable recovery tool might remove it but it could render your system unbootable as it's a rootkit, better go to a dedicated malware removal site to fix this.

This user does not know what he is doing,  in offering NPE etc.

Don't do anything to the PC I will get to you in order.

actually Quads i'm very aware of the damage rootkits can do to a system which is why i directed him to a malware removal site that deals with these infections so stop flaming?

it's really not rocket science to remove this virus, combofix tdsskiller etc, then afterwards fix the mbr if neccesary, so please keep your ignorant flames to yourself kiddo.

What, I know it is zeroaccess and NPE is not to be used with zeroaccess,  as it is not for zeroaccess as people have found out and I have had to get windows booting and repaired afterwards, yet you say you are aware of the damage these tools can do.  So why tell them to use NPE??   that is dumb to people who realise what the infection is. It must be rocket science to you

." i'm very aware of the damage rootkits can do to a system which is why i directed him to a malware removal site that deals with these infections"

I am very successful at removing these also as the people that create these tools know, I did tell the user I will get to them, so that is why they are disappearing secretly  you are PMing them instructions.

I am a copy paster, Scripts are not a copy paster, they are made to target what I want the programs to do etc.  Yes I have base templates sort of like people that make Word or Excel templates. I alter them and save them under the user ID in question, then the likes of OTL and combofix scripts are different.

Don't try and tell me what I am when you yourself earlier in the thread gave bad instructions for those who already know.

When I see bad instructions I say so to the user so things don't go wrong. Simple.

Myself and another guy from majorGeeks pulled apert the latest zeroaccess comparing logs and data, for AV companies to read etc. I successfully removed it when tools like TDSSkiller and fixZeroaccess won't.
