Several Trojan.Gen.2 files have popped up in Symantec Endpoint Auto-Protect, but every time, they have been placed into Quarantine. Is this something that needs action, or should I just be okay with what my antivirus is doing?

*scratches head* I didn't think i'd be back here so soon.
Last time it was Zero.Access and the sys!gen one, but now it's Trojan.Gen.2. It hasn't given me problems, it came up once yesterday and again today with some Gen.2 files that have gone to quarantine each time.

Looks like just a file(s) download or similar from a website etc into a temp folder.

Alright then. It just came up again on my computer with 8 supposeedly infected files that will most likely be quarantined. But thanks for the reassurance.

It does it once every 24 hours, just about.

Is there a regular website someone is going to that is downloading a temp file, which Norton is then detecting and deleteing every time.
