I get that I'm aloud to install on three computers. How is this tracked and how can I view what computers (of mine) are identified on this installed list. Also another post stated that I can re-install as many times as needed as long as it's on the same computer ? I reformatted and reloaded windows (which I like to do periodically) and now I'm getting the message that I need to buy another key because I have no more available installs. If I have an old blow up computer identified by norton as having a install I need to blow that away. How do I clean the slate and start over ?
Please help Nathan has not been that helpful.
Thanks in advance

To manage the installs on multiple computers, install Norton Management on all the pcs. Using Norton Management, you can release the install on an old computer, so it will be available for the replacement.
To get the install back for the reformatted computer, you can contact Support via on line chat found here
Explain your situation and they should be able to help.

So support will be able to help regain a license from a computer that will not boot anymore ?

Hi Shalung
With the New Modifications in the Norton management Website, you can Regain the License from a Dead/Alive/Dying Computers...
Goto https://manage.norton.com --> Sign in with your Norton Account Email and Password --> Goto My Account (tab) --> Products --> Select your Norton Product and you can see the Devices/Computers you had installed that Norton Product --> Click on the Trash icon next to that Computer --> This will remove the license in that Computer.

OK, I removed the dead computers. When I open up Internet Security on this computer it still asks if I'm ready to buy.
Can I activate this copy of internet security now that my license has available downloads or do I have to uninstall and reinstall using a download ?

If you have the Product Key with you, then you can go ahead and activate the Norton Internet Security. If you don't have the Key, Collect it from the My Account Tab in the Norton Management Website and then activate the Currently installed copy of NIS.

I went into my account and see I have 2 available download available. I copied the product key and pasted it into the activate window and it still comes back with the message "You have exceeded the number a allowable installations for this subscription". That didn't work.

Please download the Norton from your Norton Account and install it, it'll will automatically removes the existing norton Internet Security and installs itself and activate. If you still get the same message, the License Removal might have problems in syncing properly with our Server. Please contact our Support and let them know the Situation.

I used Norton Management and uninstalled internet security and then using Norton Management to install. It once again came back and said I had no more downloads available. First I tried the install without unistalling and it said I must uninstall the internet security already installed before installing. I didn't see any auto removal available.
