Good morning, everyone.
I wanted to check to see if my favorite TuneUp program, TuneUp Utilities was compatible with Norton Internet Security 2012. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any type of anti-virus or firewall element to it, but I really want to make sure Norton is FULLY FUNCTIONING, not partly functioning.
If I have to get Norton Utilities instead, then I will, but I already have a full license for TuneUp.
If someone could let me know, I would deeply appreciate it.
Thanks
Eric

I ran TuneUp Utilities 2011 and checked all the modules, and it seemed to play along with NIS 2012 just as well as with earlier versions of NIS.

So you dont think it would be a problem running both at the same time? ![]()

Hi,
Norton Internet Security is not having any compatibility issues with Tune - Up Utilities. It will work perfectly.
I prefer Norton Utilities because of the latest version is much enhanced and will fix the critical errors.
Since you have Subscription for Tune-Up Utilities , finish the same and go for Norton Utilities !!!

Thank you very much for your response. I'm happy to hear that I can finish my subscription. I will DEFINITELY be switching to Norton Utilities.
One last question...if I buy an older version of Norton Utiliities, May I upgrade to the latest version?
Thank you for your time

You are most welcome !
Once the subscription of Tune-Up Utilities ends, you can install the latest version of Norton Utilities. Not a problem with that.

I think I need to be more clear.
If I bought an old version of Norton Utilities (such as 2009) or something like that, could I upgrade to the latest version for free?
I know that if you buy NIS 2010, you are able to upgrade to 2012 for free.
I was wondering if the same prinipal applies?

You are absolutely correct. If you have 2009 version, you can upgrade to the latest version of Norton Utilities without any additional cost .
