Hi,
I recently upgraded from NIS to 2012. I am been able to install and activate my subscription on my Windows 7 box ok. I can install NIS 2012 ok om my 2nd PC, but when i paste the renewal code to activate on my 2nd PC a winxP box, the next button is greyed out *(which seems like it does not recognise the renewal key on this PC)
Any ideas how to fix the problem?
Thanks

HI flop71,
Does your XP system have service pack 2 or later as required by the System Requirements found at the bottom of this page?

Hi,
Do you have a 1PC or a 3PC subscription? Did you have NIS on the 2nd PC under your pervious subscription? Last question, are you renewing or is this a new subscription key [25 alphanumeric characters]?
Thanks

Hi Dick,
My Win7 System had NIS 2011 installed and after purchasing a renewal code i was about to download NIS2012, upgrade with a years subscription ok
My WinXP SP3 system, had NAV2011 installed. So i installed NIS2012 ok, however the problem is NIS doesnot seem to recognose my renewal code.
I have just checked my Norton account online and it shows i have 3 licenced installs in total and 2 are remaining. However i noticed that my product ey is different to the renewal key. So i have just entered this code and NIS is now successfully activated.
Please consider the probloem resolved.
Cheers

Excellent! Great news! I am glad it is sorted.
