I keep getting the following msg: Error: "To continue the installation make sure the network control panel is closed..." when I install a Norton product"

Welcome to Norton Community,

Could you provide which Norton Product are you going to install NIS 2011 or NIS 2012?

Do you have any other security product installed on your machine? If you have any earlier version of Norton Product ,please remove them using NRT www.norton.com/nrt and follow the steps which are mentioned in the link.

If you have problem in downloading, you can download English version of  NIS2012 from this link  www.norton.com/nis12

   Restart the Computer in Safemode and try to install the Norton, If still you get the message Please try to follow the steps in this page.
