Starting today (10/4/12) I am not being able to update my IPS Definitions on NIS 2012 V 19.9.0.9. The updates download but I get the message that it "Failed to complete" (see attched pdf). Anyone else having this problem,? Please help. My machine: Windows 7 Pro 64 bits

If this just started happening, keep trying the LiveUpdate.

If it still does not update completely by tomorrow, we can look at other options.

Have you tried to use Norton Autofix and see if that solve the problem or not.

Just got some errors on Live Update with Virus Definitions. I thing Symantec must be having server problems. Will check tomorrow and see what is going on.

As of 10/5/12 the problem has been solved in my computer. It just worked out on its own, so I assume that symantec fixed the offending update. All good!

Mine has cleared up also early this morning.
