This has happened to me the previous 3 times I needed the latest Norton tool bar when a new version of Firefox is released. In every case, the only option that worked was to uninstall and reinstall NIS. What a pain! I'll wait a few days to see if a fix is found before I go through the same rigmarole again.

Add me to the list of those who can't update NIS 2012....on two Windows 7 64bit machines.

After uninstalling NIS 2012 & 5 reboots per machine, my 2 Win 7 64bit PCs are back in business. The toolbar is back on FireFox 10.0.
What a pain!

All,
Thank you for sending me your log.lue files. Please give the engineering team some time to research them. At this time, we do not need any additional submissions of logs. If we need more, we'll post them on this forum.
Thanks for your patience while we research this! ![]()

Same here.. 19.2.0.10 ..This on all 3 of my win 7 64 bit systems. I spent an hour or so, running manuly live update, reboots, repeat and rinse for all 3 of them.. no change.. each time they all say complete//// This is ridiculous.Everytime FF does an update there are issues... Im sorry, but im so sick of it....

All OK here in Italy: first step done 1.31 in the morning, second step 1.31 in the night with reboot. Now 19.5 is running fine on HE XP SP3.

Same here on Win 7 64. Same 7.1.0.38 engline.dll.
Doesn't exactly inspire confidence when your AV program can't update itself properly. And why do various users have different versions of engine.dll? Don't really feel like uninstalling/reinstalling, so hopefully a LU fix will be implemented.

I can also confirm that I am still on 19.2.0.10, although a restart was requested today
