We already have a 100% rating here:
But we would like to register the site to our account, so we started site verification here:
http://safeweb.norton.com/site_dispute
We have uploaded the verification file to the root of our website:
http://www.magictoolbox.com/nortonsw_722a3200-910a
We then click "verify my site ownership" and see this message:
"Before we verify your ownership, you need to get auth file and put it in the root folder of your website. Click "ok" when you've completed this step."
We click OK and we get this error:
"Web site ownership verification failed. Copy the auth file to the root directory of your Web site or copy the meta_tag into your Web site`s home page."
Why is verification failing?
Thanks,
Magic Toolbox
