Like many others in this forum, I have downloaded the verification file to the root of the respective website, verified that the .html file loads, but yet the verification process fails.
Is there a fix for this? I have about 15 domains that I need to get verified, so having the automated process work correctly would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, I have verified the domain name is correct and that each website has the proper (unique) html file located in the root directory. Currently I have three domains queued up in my profile:

Hello 5503landis and welcome!
Let me confirm, you downloaded the HTML files from Safe Web as opposed to creating them manually, correct?
I will notify the Safe Web team of your issue. Please allow them a day or two to respond back to you in this thread.
Thanks!

Thanks, but like my post stated, I have numerous websites and based on the volume of posts, the verifcation process does not seem to work.
Is there an expected fix on Symantec's side to correct this issue? The "issue" being the automated process to verify sites that fails when the steps are followed exactly as instructed.

We are working on a few areas of improvement in the verification process. We are analysing the causes of the current failures and believe we can address several of them. We will post to the forum about them after they are in place. If there are any specific suggestions for improvement please send let us know.

Can you please verify ownership for PhiladelphiaInjuryLawyer.com. I have uploaded the html verification file to the root and still get the error that the site ownership could not be verified.
As with my other sites in which the automated process fails, I have typed in the web address with the html verification file and the page loads without issue.
The fact that the automated process does not work properly is a serious issue because anyone using the Symantec Security Suite are going to naturally look at websites as either safe to go to or not safe based on the green button vs. gray button that appears. Those people are potential clients for me, so for the 30+ domains I have (or manage for my clients), there is a significant potential to loose clients because the verification process isn't working and the manual process of submitting sites in the forums is too time consuming.

Hi 5503landis,
Your site ownership has been manually verified and your site 'philadelphiaInjurylawyer.com' has been submitted for analysis. Note that the initial evaluation process takes about two weeks to complete.
