Virus Definitions Path for Windows 7

Hi, Everyone,

What is the Path to get to this V.D. Folder in Windows 7, since this is not included in the Security History?

In WIndows 7 Professional x64 the path is:

C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\NIS_17.5.0.127\Definitions

Norton 360 • Norton Internet Security • Norton Zone | XP SP3 • Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64

Same place as Phil_D listed above; there is no 32 / 64 bit destinction in the data locations.  There should be a destinction in the program file locations, however.

Re: Virus Definitions Path for Windows 7

It's not the same.  I have played around with the P.C. and cannot find the V.D.s.  This would be so much easier if this was listed in the Security History!  ;)

Re: Virus Definitions Path for Windows 7

It is the same, they are in the VirusDefs subfolder.

And seriously, I don't see any sensible reason why this location should be logged.
