I have found the instructions on Symantec website for removing VirusHeat 3.9 at http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2008-021111-1926-99. Problem is, this does not seem to work with VirusHeat 4.3. Is there an update in the works for removing the latest version of Virusheat?

Did you send the sample to Symantec?

You can try this for deleting

Hello,

We've updated our detection for the most current versions of VirusHeat. We've also updated our removal scripts for VirusHeat versions 4.3 and 4.4 so that they'll automatically be removed upon detection.
