Hi Quads.  this started happening to me today as well.   For me, its when i go to Google.com in internet explorer 9.  Instead of going to google, it goes to a white page with the words "Welcome to NGINX!" on there.   

I know when the infection occurred, it was when I was going to a local municipalities website this morning.  Ever since i've been unable to use google.   In fact, i've started using Mozilla as my browser this afternoon.     Any help would be appreciated.

It could be that Norton is deleting the file but it is getting recreated by a deeper darker running piece of malware that just rebuilds it.

Please read carefully

1. Please download aswMBR hxxp://public.avast.com/~gmerek/aswMBR.exe to your desktop. (replace the hxxp with http)
Double click the aswMBR.exe icon to run it
it will ask to download extra definitions - ALLOW IT / Yes
Click the Scan button to start the scan
On completion of the scan, click the save log button, save it to your desktop and Please attach the log in the post back, Don't have the program fix anything.

This is the second time this happened to me. The first time, I had to have Windows reloaded. Please tell me there is a way to fix this without doing that again! Here is my log... I used the instructions above. Thank you!!
