Where does NIS2011 keep its settings

Just as the title sais, can anyone tell me where does NIS 2011 keep its settings? I know that other AVs keep'em in the Application Data folder inside All Users.

Thanks

I don't know but you could view the settings yourself using the "settings" in the Norton GUI:

The settings aren't kept in any user viewable/modifiable form. You have to use the product's interface to change any settings.

I know how to change them. The idea was to backup some INI, CFG or some sort of file for later use, so I won't have to re-edit them every time I install.

Although you can manually backup your Identity Safe data there isn't a way to backup your other product settings in a way that can readily be imported into a new installation. If you are interested in this feature please suggest this in the Norton Product Ideas area.

Re: Where does NIS2011 keep its settings

Thanks for the suggestion. I somehow wonder how this antivirus doesn't have such a thing. For others I used the files in App Data I mentioned in the first post. Kaspersky even has in the Configuration menu the option to Save and Restore configurations (it's encrypted so it's impossible to edit if that's the reason why Norton doesn't have such a feature).

Re: Where does NIS2011 keep its settings

Hello

I have already posted this in the New Ideas section of the Forum.  I've requested it for Custom Firewall listings and this could be expanded to include other features that are customized.

The more kudoes for the idea, maybe there will be a chance for the idea to be implimented. Thanks.
