Hey there!
Version 2008 is very old version . Perhaps you may know , but currently we have Norton 2011 available . After 2009 (including version 2011) Norton products are much better , smaller , lighter ...
If you know about version 2011 , is there any reason for you not to update to it ?
As long as your subscription/license is active and valid , you are entitled to a free upgrade to the newest version .
I recommend you first use Symantec Norton Removal tool - get from www.symantec.com/nrt
, then download your Norton version and install it :
Norton Antivirus : www.norton.com/nav11 or Norton Internet Security : www.norton.com/nis11
Let us know the final result after that

Hi omonimo,
Welcome to the Norton forum!
Antivirus is not the culprit here. "error 0x000021 Logon terminated unexpectly 0x00000" is a Windows error. It would be easy for us to help, if you provide us the complete details of the error message (error message/error code). You can also go through the following link and look for help:

Hello omonimo
Please try running the program that Delphinium suggests in the post that is marked as the solution in this thread. It may give you the cause of your windows problem and it should tell you why you had the blue screen. Thanks. Thanks also to Delph.
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.
