Hi Saurav I was reading your post and I think you said you are still using Windows XP Pro SP2.  Have you considered upgrading to SP3?  I don't think SP2 is supported by Microsoft anymore and may leave you open to other problems.  Just a thought..

Thanx for help now I got understand.I also want to ask what is the correct sollution of error 8504,104.I had also encountered this error but after reinstalling nis it is resoled but one of my friend has encountered this same error he was asking  me he do not want to reinstall so plz tell the solution so that I am assist him and also tell the cause of this error.He is using the same OS .

Ya, I had already read that article but I want to know thje cause of these two errors  8504,104   and   3040,40028.

Today I faced the 3040,40028 error ,

Plz tell the cause of the errors and way to prevent  them .

I manually update my NIS 2011 daily 2 times then why I"m facing these errors.
