after i downloaded the files there was no pop up message saying the status of the file if it is reliable or not or even if is unsafe is there some options that i missed to set up because everytime i download i should do some manual scan just to make it is safe thank you...

Hi,

Can you please check if the download intelligence feature is set to ON in the product?

This is how you turn it ON:

1. In the Norton Internet Security main window, click Settings.

2. In the Settings window, click the Web tab.

3. In the left pane, click Download Intelligence.

4. In the Download Intelligence row, move the On/Off switch to the left to the On position.

5. In the Settings window, click Apply, and then click OK.

   You can also set the download intelligence settings based on your preferences from that window.
