Hello all.
Apparently my child has been doing some surfing on the family computer and I now see a new process in my taskmanager: b.exe. This "virus" seems to broadcast a radio program over the speakers and it affects my searches on the internet. I've done some system scans and the file seems to have changed the way NAV scans my system. It no longer scans all the files/folders and in some cases scans are instantaneous with no results at all.
I've done research on how to remove this but I've had no luck at all. I'm wondering if anybody has heard of a virus affecting the way NAV works. It seems to have affected the way my malware programs work as well. Second, I'm looking for a reliable way to remove this file. I would love some guidance from the community.
Thank you all.

Hi Anothernewuser,
Welcome to Norton Community!
It seems to be a varient of the Lampsy Trojan. Please go through the technical as well as removal details from the following Security response article:
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.
For the problem with the Norton scan, please provide more details such as name & version of your Norton program and your Operating System. Did you try to run the scan from Norton program in Safe Mode?
