Hi Pete and welcome!
For those who cannot access the Root Directory, the Safe Web Team will sometimes recommend placing a metatag with the nortonsw info in the homepage.
It would probably be best for you to wait for their specific advice. They are regularly on these forums, so I think you should be helped soon.

Hi Pete,
Could you please add the auth code as a meta tag on the main page of your site?
This auth code needs to be visible to us in order to verify ownership.
Let us know when you have added the auth code in your site for us to verify.
In the meantime, we have queued 'pmjsdirect.co.uk' for analysis.
This site should get rated shortly on ‘safeweb.norton.com’.

Check this link, Pete.
Then see if your site builder program has an option to help you create one.

Hi Pete,
By web standards, the meta tag should be entered in the head section, between <head> and </head>. This way, the data is not visible to the general public, but can be read by other computers.
Unfortunately, your nortonsw code is now visible to all who visit your page.
Do you have access to edit your website's HTML code directly or can your site builder program place a meta tag in the proper location?

Hello Pete,
Please do not change your text to white on a white background - that can viewed by search engines as a ploy to unfairly raise your search engine ratings and you may be penalized in placement for that.
Perhaps we should continue this via PM as we are getting off topic. Give me 30 minutes and I will contact you. Look for the in the upper right corner of any forum board.
** Change your nortonsw text back to a color that contrasts with the background ASAP.
