does norton block website attack?

does norton block website attack?

 

recently i entered a website through google search , of course the website was identified safe by norton search.

 

on an attempt to close the website, the browers open mutiple tab/intances of the same website.

 

the more i close , the more it opens.

 

sometimes i wonder , how good are norton product at all seriously......

Are you able to provide a link to the website you visited?

Also, what are your system specs, and how long have you had Norton Installed?

Have you done a full scan to verify all threats are eliminated?

Potentially malicious links are not permitted to be posted on the forum.  This should be handled via PM if you wanted to check it yourself.

anyone experience similiar situation before?
