i've gotten a message that the computer has error 3043.1. suggested to open norton 2011 and ... however i can't open it ; it tells me my account is inactive. the coverage expires in june
don't know what to do

Welcome,
The usual solution is to reboot and run live update. You might also want to check the time on your PC. If your subscription is valid until June that might be part of the problem. If you are still having a problem, you might try a control panel uninstall, reboot and reinstall of the program.

after trying to open the norton antivirus site several times, it finally did open . i was then able to run the liveupdate. after doing it a couple of times, the account became active again.
