Trying to do full system scan, goes so far then appears to stay on the same file, will not budge, can anyone help?

Welcome spareroomgirl,

Can you turn off Compressed File Scan and try again?  I use N360,  so am not sure of where to find it in NIS/NAV.

In NIS 2012, it is located at Settings > Computer > Computer Scan > Compressed File Scan
