Hiya, apologies if this has been posted before.
I am trying to install Norton on my laptop, I have logged into my account and it tells me that I have one more installation available, I go through the process but when I enter me product key I get an error message saying that it is invalid.
Please help as I only have 2 days free subscription on my laptop.
Thank you

Hi Newbie1971,
You will need to check with Customer Support to determine why your Product Key is coming up as invalid. Was it purchased through a retailer, or did you acquire it through a private party, such as on eBay?

Hi
I bought it direct from Norton and it was renewed last year. Can I email customer services or is it just the telephone number, we have just moved and don't really want to spend a fortune being on hold on my mobile.
Thanks for your help.

All of the options for contacting Support, including email, are in the link I provided. You can use Chat - that is by far the easiest and fastest way. If this is a 3 user license that was activated a year ago on one PC, then all three licenses will expire simultaneously. Also, are you clicking "Renew" at the bottom of the Norton window, entering the Product Key in the space provided and clicking the small arrow to submit it?

It tells me that my free subscription is due to expire, I click renew and it redirects me to the Norton website. I log into my account and it tells me that I have protection for 5 pcs with 1 remaining activation. I am copy and pasting the product key so it has to be correct. How do I get to chat to someone who can help (sorry I am not to clever with all this stuff)

Ah-Ha!! Copy and paste won't work. You need to type it in manually.

Hi, I have finally managed to do it. I completely uninstalled Norton from me laptop and somehow (don't ask me how) managed to reinstall it with my original subscription. Many, many thanks for your help.
Can I just say that this has taken me 2 hours to sort out, not the easiest site to navigate. Surely there should be a simpler way of doing this? I put in the same product key code throughout so I can't understand how one minute it tells me that it is invalid and the next it accepts it ... very strange.

Hi newbee1971,
I'm not sure what might have caused the issue, but I'm glad to hear you got everything sorted out.
