"Protect yourself now, or beg for mercy"

I finally got on to the computer. Here it is embedded! I 100% think its fake! BTW, what's the REAL message that appeared?

First the issue of the popup. This is a legitimate alert window. It is meant to be in the same line of humor as the following videos. Let me know if you have any questions about these alerts, and thanks for letting us know!

Also, currently for the forums, we are working to be more compatible for mobile devices. Right now, they're not fully compatible, but we can see a growing need for it. Thanks!

I saw that this popup was complained on the Comodo forum. It could be see as a threat to buy Norton software or renew it. Its almost the same behavior as rogue av, they said.

Well, I'm certainly happy to hear that this message has been "toned down". I'm still very surprised that the original message was ever approved, but I guess that's why I'm not making the big bucks, or the decisions, at Symantec.![]()
Kudos to Symantec for realizing the mistake and pulling that message.
