Hi rstrait7288

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums

Since there isn't anything available going back that far you would need to look at updating to a newer version depending on the specification and operating system of your PC.

Re: old antivirus

Before installing NIS 2011 or Norton 360 V5, you need to uninstall version 2003 (or whatever you have) thoroughly!!

1. Uninstall all Symantec/Norton components in Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and reboot

2. Download and run the Norton Removal Tool twice to remove the remnants of your version, with a reboot after each run,

    from here :

    http://www.symantec.com/symnrt

Bear in mind that the removal tool will delete all your installed Norton products.

Norton Utilities of that year will not run together with NIS 2011 or Norton 360 V5 anyway!.

3. Install NIS 2011 or Norton 360 V5

Hugo

W8 / W7/SP1 with IE10 / XP3/SP3 with IE8 and FF 19, TB 17, NIS2013 20.3.0.36
