i have done everything i can to get the little green check mark next to my site....i entered meta tag and put authorization file into root folder...i still failed ...what do i do?!?! website is www.lisasgiftshop.com

In viewing your page source, I can see that your meta tag is not properly formatted.
Currently it looks like this:
<meta name="nortonsw_3426d130-513d-0.html" content="kg12mm7.....
See if you can change the meta name so it looks like this:
<meta name="norton-safeweb-site-verification" content="kg12mm7....
Then, try the verification process and let us know how you do.
If you have any problems there is enough information for the Safe Web team to manually verify your site ownership.
To be notified by email when a reply is posted, go to My Settings > Preferences and check the box for: "Automatically Subscribe Me to Topics I Participate In".

i have been fighting with this process forever, still not sure if i did this right. i cant figure out where to put the tag and i cant upload html

i see that i now have a green check near my "guestbook" link but not the main home page when i do a search with google
