product key expired

I have 2 year subscription for three systems. On one system, it tells me that the product key expired while the other system tells me that I have 270 days of subscription left. Any help available will be appreciated. I am running the expired key on windows xp and the other one is on vista 32 bit.

Hi noormotani,

Kindly launch your Product and select "Subscription Status" under "Help & Support" or "Support" which is available at right top corner of Product's Main UI in both the machines. Also make sure your system date is current date.

Let us know how this goes.

Thanks.

Hi noormotani,

On the computers showing the Norton program as expired, open Norton and click Help & Support (or just Support) > Subscription Status.  After the Subscription Status Check completes, click Finish.  This will update the subscription information on your local program to reflect what is on the Symantec servers.  This should fix your issue.

I checked the subscription status and on both systems it says "your subscription status could not be verified at this time. Please check again later"

What next?

HI noormotani,

There could be a temporary problem with the Symantec server or the path getting there. Are you able to run live update OK?

If you are still not able to connect successfully after a few hours I would recommend checking with Customer Service and they should be able to straighten this out for you.

Chat is the best option if you need to go this route.

Please let us know how it goes.

Best wishes.

Allen
