question about early load option under settings in nis2009

If I enable early load under settings in norton internet security 2009 will it noticablty slow down my boot up or affect me in any other way?

It may affect it for a few seconds, but it is better to be safe than sorry.  I would Recommend all Users to put Early Load on; can't remember what it was called in pre-Norton 2009 Products.
