I was signed into auto renewal without my knowledge and would like a refund on both items. I originally bought the cd for NIS 2011 and should not have been charged. I tried calling the number that was listed in my bank statement and got only a recording. Please help.

Hello t_walfied
Welcome to the Norton Community Forum
What are the products that you would like a refund for? You can consult this kb for instructions on how to get a refund

I think the Norton standard license agreement allows refunds up to 60 days fropm date of purchase. When did you pruchase the product for which you would like a refund?
HP-Mini 110 -1020NR (netbook) 2GB RAM, CPU N270 @1.60GHz, Windows XP Home, SP3, NIS 2011 18.6.0.29 (installed 12h00 GMT 18-JUL-11) , FF5,IE8

I would contact the Norton On Line Support Team vua the CHAT route as below -- they have a great reputation for sorting out problems with subscriptions. CHAT uses your computer keyboard not the phone ....
To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there. You may have to scroll down a little to see the CHAT button.
Feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.
Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.
Please let us know how you get on ....

Either link will get the job done. I personally prefer dealing with CHAT as automated systems don't necessarily ask all the right questions.

flo's link does take you to CHAT but only after a Q&A session (fortunately not with Nathan) to establish that it is cancelling an autorenew that you want to do, out of a number of specific choices so I thought the direct link to CHAT would be helpful.
