On the UK site, I do not see the option for renewing my subscription to NAV for 1 PC and 1 year. The only options appear to be 3PC or 5 user pack. Since I am the only user on only 1 PC I do not want to pay for 3 or 5.
I have 15 days left on my current subscription. Currently running NAV 2012.
I use Windows XP pro SP3 all updates.
I can see it is available on Amazon.com (US, payment in $) but not on Amazon UK nor Norton UK. I'd rarther pay in £. plus Amazon free delivery will not work for UK address
Can someone point me to a link to renew for just 1 PC 1 user, based in UK please.

Have you tried contacting the Norton OnLine Support Team via the CHAT link as below and asking them? It uses the computer keyboard not the phone and we hear from users that they are quick and friendly!
To contact customer support Click on this link https://www.norton.com/chat and work on from there.
Through that you should get to the localized support for the UK.
It's not impossible that the 1PC version of NAV is no longer available since a UK Google for it says not in stock. Although they list the NIS 2012 1 PC for £21 which is not a bad price and in the 2013 versions NAV and NIS are getting closer and closer to each other.
Don't forget that you can buy an earlier version than the current 2013 / V20 and still use the KEY on later versions plus you can upgrade free of charge.
Or you can just buy the NAV 3 PC version ... you can use it for other family members.
Please let us know how you get on ....

Thanks for your advice. I'll try the chat line or try to find an earlier version (Amazon.uk had NAV 2010 1PC, but now shows no longer available, unfortunately

Yes I saw a number of not availables on the UK sites.
I jsut checked Dabs (I used to live in Manchester but it's sunnier in Florida <s>) and they don't have much:

It looks like either grab a 3 PC version of NAV or a 1 PC version of NIS ..... whichever is the best price.

I've found a site that sells a 1pc 2 year key for NAV2013, for £17.79.
It seems to be genuine, so I've risked it. I'll find out soon enough if it was too good to be true.

Note that there may be a temporary difficulty in using a 2013 key to activate a 2012 installation. Norton is aware of this and is working on the fix and issuing it but until it is distributed if you run into a problem get in touch with Norton OnLine Customer Support and they will issue you a new key that will activate the 2012 version ...... assuming yours is genuine <s>

There are messages on this in the forums from Tony Weiss which you can quote if necessary but they should know about it.
Please let us know how you get on .... especially if you do run into a problem with the activation of 2012.

Thanks, yes I had seen the thread about 2013 key and NAV 2012. I therefore decided last night, whilst my 2012 key still has about ten days to go, to let Symantec download and install 2013. At first I had the known problem of slow systray icon. I saw that the upgrade to 2013 had also installed Identity Safe Lite with its separate uninstaller. As I don't need that I uninstalled it (also cleaned out a couple of now redundant services related to it to avoid irrelevant error event logs) and from them on the NAV systray icon loads with the desktop, as it had done with 2012. I don't know if that was cause and effect, but all is running smoothly now.
I will try the 2013 key I got in 9 days' time when my 2012 key runs out. The fact that after purchasing online, I got the order and invoice confirmation emails and a separate email with the key a couple of days later gives me hope this is all legit.

JR,
Do be careful about deleting "redundant" stuff -- sometimes it is needed anyway or the deletion is not recognized by the system or application.
And I'd recommend trying the 2013 key at least a day before expiry so that you have time to do something if there is a problem since the protection stops dead in the water when the subscription expires -- it does not continue to run without updates.

I waited until I had 2 days remaining, then tried renewing with my purchased key. Happy to report that the bargain price 2 year 2013 key was accepted, activated and NAV 2013 now shows 718 days remaining.

Great news -- thanks for letting us know ....
