how would I go about infecting my computer with good maleware?
And how would you suggest I remove it?
If your making a suggestion Quads, I first thank you., secondly I will only do what you specifically say. So to that end...I don't know how to infect my computer and the only thing I use to remove anything is the scan button on Norton. I had never heard of OTL until I came to this forum and because of my confusion with my first stab it this I'm going to be very sure about what I do. I read the warnings on the Old Timer site and it echos what you've already said.

Hi compassPlant,
As Quads is suggesting, try registering and posting your issue at one of the following. They are forums set up specifically for malware removal. Use only one forum - it is important that you follow only one set of instructions from a single site.
