I downloaded and installed NIS for three PCs, I began by installing the trial version on my sons PC using my credit card, I put it in my sons name using his email account. He has deleted the email account and I cannot log in to Norton to use the other two downloads because I dont remember the password and cannot recover it due to the deleted email account. its a paid subscription from my crredit card, and I have the key. how do I install it on the other two PCs?

Hi Trialgaiter41,
Welcome to Norton Community!
You can download Norton Internet security 2011 from the following link:
Then use the same Product Key for activation. If you already have the installation file in any one computer, you can use the same installation file - transfer it to other 2 computers using USB or CD.

Hello trailgater41
I would recommend that you either put the correct information into www.mynortonaccount.com If you can't do it, I would recommend that you contact customer support using the free chat program. You may have to get into the account if you need your key at a later time. Thanks.

This is the link for US/Can. If you need a different location, please consult your local Symantec site for the local free chat customer support link.

If you registered, using your son's email adres, then the Norton Account in http://www.mynortonaccount.com/ should still be there.
You can request a new password sent to your son's emailaccount by clicking 'sign in and then by clicking the 'Recover it here' link under the 'Forgot your password' header.
And tell your son to send the email to you, instead of deleting it
.
Once you are signed, you can change the email adress/userid to which Norton is registered to your own under the 'Profile' tab.

Your suggestion is quite useless. Read the thread openers first post ![]()

Right mopperle, i misread, thinking only the email was deleted.
But..the Norton account should still be there, as it's not tied to the existence of the email account. Thus, Norton account (emailadress) can be changed by contacting Customer support and so op can get access to his account again.

Hello
Which is why I suggested notifying customer support in my post.
