Help! I own a site that was apparently hacked and has been red flagged by Norton. I verified my ownership of the site (http://www.treasuresforlittlechildren.com) and removed the folder with all the unsafe files in it (this folder was put on my site without my permission or knowledge). I changed my ftp password to a much more difficult one. I then went to my Norton Safe Web account to request that my site be verified. I went through the list of threats and indicated that all had been removed. But when I hit the "Submit" button my request for re-evaluation was omitted and the re-evaluation request page appeared again. This message then appeared: "A problem with the web page caused Internet Explorer to close and re-open this tab". I re-attempted to submit my request several times but always get the same message.
How do I submit my request for re-evaluation so it gets through? Is there actually a problem with the Norton web page? Do I have a virus or other malicious program on my computer that is blocking my attempts to report something to Norton?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

To clarify - my ownership of the site has already been verified by Norton. I meant to say that I want to have my site re-evaluated by Norton to show that it is now a safe site. I haven't been able to get this request submitted yet, apparently because of some technical problem.
Thanks for any help.

Hello abbie and welcome!
I am sorry to hear that your website was hacked. I cannot check the re-evaluate link as it is only available when a site is rated unsafe.
I will notify the Safe Web team about your issue and see if they can assist. In the mean time, there are a few things you can check regarding the inability to reach the re-evaluation page.
1) Clear your browser cache and your %temp% folder, then try to reach the page again.
2) Check if you can reach other Norton / Symantec web pages. If so, the re-evaluate page may be experiencing an issue.
3) Navigate to other security program sites and confirm that you can reach those pages.
Norton 360 • Norton Internet Security • Norton Zone | XP SP3 • Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64

Hi abbie,
We have manually analysed your site 'treasuresforlittlechildren.com' and found that all the malicious content has been removed, so we have changed your site rating to green.

Rajesh
