w32.Hidrag

Hi fellows.

I have the w32.hidrag infected on my computer and there is no way to put it away.

First of all, NIS didn’t detect it and I have to use another scanner to find it.

Anyway, even this program could not eliminate it.

In some forums, people say to delete the register HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices." “PowerManager = SVCHOST.EXE but I couldn’t find this register. My windows 7 doesn’t have the folder RunServices.

Can somebody help me on this matter?

Thanks in advance.

"RunServices" is not a folder

The other program may be giving a False Positive

Thanks Quad for your attnetion.

I really don't thing it's a false positive. My computer has the symptoms of this virus. None of the .exe files works. I can work only in safe mode and none of instructions i've seen solved the problem. Any idea?

Thanks

You have gone on your own trying things and also you are not meant to have more than one AV installed, by having 2 products.

By doing all sorts to your system with what ever programs or manually, I am not touching it.  I am not placing myself in that hole.

Good Luck
