I've been looking for something like Kaspersky's virus watch that shows an up to date detected malware. all i could find is an outdated list on security response/threat tab which shows 1 threat per two-three days (isn't reasonable). if i look on the updated signatures list, i see only changed signatures and no new added, which is too, weird.

almost. I guess it isn't the complete list. if you look closely, it says only 1 threat was added to the database on 20/06 ("New detections added for this release (1): PremiumSMSScam!gen15". on 19/06, there are none but modified signatures, and so on. no new threats? :s

Most signatures are revisions to catch new variants of known threats, rather than discoveries of completely new malware. You might also find the following page and its several tabs helpful:
