Welcome to the Norton Community Forums. :-)
Your issue sounds like you have Norton 360 and want to use the activation or
product key to install Norton Mobile Secuirty on you Android cell phone. So i
will see if i can assist you -
The Norton 360 product is for computers only not Android devices that is why
you do not have a activation key for the cell phone.
The only activation or product key you will have is so you can install Norton
360 on your PC.
The Norton 360 Multi-Device product will allow you to protect up to 5 devices
including your PC with Norton 360 and Norton Mobile Security on your Android
There is also another Norton product that will give protection to up to 5 devices
being PC's, Mac or Android devices and that product is Norton 1.
If you purchased the Norton 360 product in the last 60 days Symantec Norton
offers a full refund if you are not happy with the product.
So if you would like to get the full protection package of Norton 360 Multi-Device
or Norton 1 which will protect your Android device and your computers as well
( Mac and PC ) then you could try contacting the Norton Support Live Chat for
free via the web to see if you can change your Norton 360 subscription to Norton
360 Multi-Device or Norton 1. They might be able to work something out for you
and you might just have to get a full refund for your current product and then purchase
Norton 360 Multi-Device or Norton 1.
Contact Norton Support Live Chat and fill in the required info and select Chat Now
if needed. Explain your situation and i am sure they will help you. :-)
Click on the link below-
If you do not want to try the option above you could just download the Lite version
of Norton Mobile Security from the Google Play Store here and then upgrade and
pay for the full version, or you could buy the Norton Mobile Security product from
the Norton Online Store or from a retail store or computer store if possible.
Let us know how you go or if you require any more assistance. .

I have Norton Antivirus 360 for multiple devices. I did not know the difference. It had a feature with an Android phone with it.
I had scanned it with the Key Code scanner and installed it on my phone, but I do not have an Activation Key code because I had downloaded the program.
I would and need to know how to install the Activation Key code. I had looked at the e-mail that I had gotten when I downloaded it, and it did not say Activation Key code for Android cell phone.
Thank you for helping and continued support,

You have 2 ways to install NMS, you can install the old version or the new
version. I think the new version would be the best choice. :-)
You can use one of the available installs from N360M-D ( Norton 360 Multi
Device ) to install NMS 3.0 from Google Play as you have 5 installs to use
with PC's, Mac and Android devices.
To install the new version uninstall the old version of NMS from your device
to start with.
Then download the latest version of NMS Lite from the Google Play Store.
Just search for Norton Mobile Security and download and install.
Open the NMS app and sign in using your Norton Account details linked to
the purchase of N360M-D from the Norton Online Store.
Select upgrade then choose the option i have already purchased the product.
It should then activate using one of the 5 available installs from your N360M-D
The second way is as follows but is the old version of NMS 2.5.
With the version 2.5 f NMS you can activate it with some of the details in the email
you received when you purchased Norton 360 Multi Devcie from the Norton Online
Store, you should have received a 25 digit Product Key.
If you open the Norton Mobile Security 2.5 app on your device and you are asked
to activate with product key enter the 25 diigit Product Key with no spaces and
no slashes or dashes just the 25 digits, and activate.
I personally prefer the new version of NMS 3.0, and you will find more info about
it in the link below-
Keep us posted and let us know how you go.

I must really want you to not have to go thru what I just did. I spent 1.25 hrs. waiting for phone support and tried chat support but they had nobody in Mobile Security to chat with.
We purchased the Mobile Security service online.
If you have the same problem I had... not knowing where to look for the product key... here is what you do:
Go to your confirmation emai. Mine said Norton Store - Order Confirmation for order #N------------------- (a series of numbers follow NP)
Go down... past Order Details / Invoice
Go down... past Billing & Shipping Details
Go down...under PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
There is a 10-digit code after the words Product Key. Ours was all lower case letters... 10 of them.
I have attached a copy of what it looks like with the product key blocked out.
By the way, there is a Product Key under the products you have purchased when you look at your Norton Account Online. It is 25 characters and doesn't work for the installation. But you already knew that!

Welcome to the Norton Community.
Just to clarify your post regarding activation of Norton Mobile Security (NMS) being
are you activating a old version of NMS being the apk that was downloaded from the
Norton Servers.? that required a 10 letter in lower case product key for activation.?
Because as far as i know in order to activate the current free version of NMS Lite in Google
Play from a link in the app you require a 25 character product key and a Norton Account and
that is the same as registering a new NMS product purchase with the NMS web based Control
Panel where a 25 character product key is again needed as well as a Norton Account to activate
the full paid version of NMS.
I hope that info helps.

Did not look at the attached screen shot which answers my question
about where your version of NMS came from which would have been
from the apk downloaded from the Norton servers.
Which will prompt you to install the Google Play version of NMS as a
normal part of the LiveUpdate process and at the same time register
your product with your Norton Account details.
