I have entered a phone and marked it to block both phone calls and SMS messages, some from that number are blocked, some are not.  Can I correct this in some way?

Hi chukes.

I have no immediate answer as I would not have expected this to happen.  Intriguing!

Can you give us a little more detail?  

How did you enter the number was it from a message received, your contacts ....

Do the messages/calls that get through show a different number format from the blocked ones e.g. international code, spaces or something?

Have you tried using the "Call log" or "SMS log" feature of blocking to add the one that got through to the list?  It might give you the same number twice in the list or it might show a slightly different version.

If you do note any difference between the numbers that are blocked and those that are not, or find any other solution to this intriguing puzzle please keep us informed.

The number was entered manually from the "Call & SMS" Blocking page.  It is a standard domestic number with the typical xxx-xxx-xxxx forfmat..  I attempted to enter it a second time as xxxxxxxxxx and received a message the number was already in the block list.

Strangely it was blocked on 2/18, 2/19, and 3/12, but on 3/20 it came thru with a slightly different single word message.,

 It is the only number in my blocking list. so I can't compare with other blocking attempts.

I have deleted the original entry, and reentered it again, but not optimistic this will solve the problem.

It's not ideal, but in order to determine why, we would need logging set up for when it comes through.  There are two methods.  The first is to use "report a problem" from within the App.  You have to do this relatively quickly after the issue occurs as this is a limited amount of logging data.  We would need your IMEI to look up the logs on the backend (don't post this publicly).  The other is to use CatLog to log until you see the call/sms come through.  The downside to this is that the log can get large if you have no idea when the call/sms will make it through.
